Aerial hyperspectral imagery

The spectrum of images assessed through aerial hyperspectral technology contain information that is invisible to the human eye.

This gives the possibility of various analyses in visible and near infrared spectra, and for the spectra beyond these (summarizing in 400-2540 nm spectra). The end product of the assessment is a multi-channel aerial image, in which each pixel (or unit, with a unique pattern much like the human fingerprint) has unique spectral characteristics (for example: each tree species has different spectral characteristics, as well as diseased and healthy plants, concrete and asphalt surfaces, and corrugated tin or tile roofs). Using this spectral uniqueness allows us to identify variations and differences and for further analyses.
