Our EUREKA project received national funding

Our “Development of a methodology to identify bark beetle infestations based on multi-sensor remote sensing” entitled EUREKA project received national funds.

We are glad to announce that our “Development of a methodology to identify bark beetle infestations based on multi-sensor remote sensing” entitled EUREKA project – in collaboration with Hansa Luftbild AG - received national funds. The project aims to develop a methodology to identify bark beetle infestations in forest areas during the green attack phase, considering local characteristics and using the combination of various remotes sensing technologies and image processing procedures. The project gives the possibility to expand our activities to the German forestry market in collaboration with our German partner. Next to the results of the 24 months project we would like to introduce our other products for forest management (e.g. tree species map, individual tree detection, exploitable timber volume estimation) to German markets as well.
