Edit Lénártné Koncz
CEO

Since 2018 September I have been working at Envirosense Hungary Ltd., as a CEO. I graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2004 as an English Language Teacher.

My main activities and responsibilities include management, administration, representation of the company with a third party, the financial management of the company, preparation of contracts, signing of contracts, contributing to the preparation of national and international tenders, exercising of employer’s rights, fulfilling obligations as to declarations and payments, monitoring the accounting of the company.

Zsolt Katona
Senior GIS Specialist, CEO

I’ve been working for the Envirosense Hungary Ltd. since 2009. I graduated from the University of Debrecen as an agricultural engineer in 2002. Currently I am attending a specialist engineer training at the University of Óbuda.

My main activities are: planning and building GIS systems (QGIS, ArcGIS), management of server side GIS systems (ArcGIS Server, GeoServer, Postgre+PostGIS), preparing processing workflows, teaching GIS, processing satellite and LIDAR data, client facing.

László Dusek
Senior IT Specialist, HPC Computing

I work at Envirosense Hungary Ltd. from mid-2018 as a development engineer and supercomputer administrator. I obtained my engineer IT specialist degree at the College of Dunaújváros in 2010.

I have the opportunity to use my experience in building, preparing, organizing, operating and developing IT systems as well as in the field of programming. My main tasks include continuous provision and development of hardware infrastructure, software development, and the operation and co-ordination of supercomputers and other computing units.

Péter Enyedi
Manager - LiDAR division

I have been working at Envirosense Hungary Ltd. since 2014. I have graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2007. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Debrecen.

The main part of my work is planning, realising, processing LiDAR surveys. I am also responsible for managing the LiDAR data processing team, examining the application of LiDAR data to various R&D projects and product development. My main research topic is the application of aerial LiDAR data and other remotely sensed datasets for city management purposes.

I have great experience in LiDAR data processing. I am author and co-author of several related publications.

Ildikó Gombosné Nagy, PhD
Senior researcher, project manager

Since 2011 I have been working at Envirosense Hungary Ltd., initially as a GIS development engineer, from 2018 as a project manager. I graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2004 as Agricultural Engineer for Environmental Management; in 2007 I was awarded a degree in Geodesy and geoinformatics. I graduated in PhD in 2009 from the University of Debrecen.

My main activities and responsibilities include managing the company's corporate governance system, supporting senior executives in organizer and professional tasks related to the achievement of business and project goals, contributing to the preparation of national and international projects, project coordination,updating project documentations, quality assurance and management tasks,performing scientific research work.

Grégory Lucas
Manager of the photogrammetry division

I started to work at Envirosense Hungary Ltd. in 2012 as an airborne operator and photogrammetry expert. 2012 was also the year I started my PhD degree studies at the University of Public Service in the field of disaster management. Since 2017 I am the head of the photogrammetry division. In this position I monitor the orthophotography production activity, I manage a team of several persons, I ensure the products meet standard quality and I look for new developments with new technologies.

Gergely Hunyadi PhD
senior research engineer, strategic project manager

I graduated as agricultural engineer with the specialization of environmental management in 2007 in the University of Debrecen where I received my PhD diploma in 2013. I joined the team of Envirosense in January 2014. My main tasks at the company are the analysis of using various remote sensing technologies for different applications and fields; the determination of novel and innovative methods and the development and management of connected national and international projects and tenders.

Zoltán Kovács
Senior IT developer

I was graduated in Geography in 2012. During my studies I was focusing on 3D geological modelling, sedimentology, hyperspectral image analysis. I am a GIS analyst with 10 years of experience working with GIS software. I have advanced programming skills in Python, VBA and R languages. Recently, my main tasks include processing high resolution imagery for analysis and basemaps; designing multi-software suite workflows for data manipulation and developing Python scripts mostly in open source environments.

Zoltán Nagy
Airborne sensor operator

I have been working for Envirosense Hungary Ltd. since 2015. My tasks are the operation and maintenance of various air sensors (LIDAR, Hyperspectral, Oblique, Infra and normal cameras). Downloading and checking post data is also an important part of my job.

Gábor Papp
ecologist-GIS expert

I joined the Envirosense Hungary Ltd. in 2018. I got my degrees in ecology and GIS at the University of Debrecen in 2001 and 2009, respectively.

I carry out primarily field surveys related to ecology at the firm, but also take on GIS-related assignments.

László Takács-Szilágyi
Senior LiDAR and GIS Specialist

I work for Envirosense Hungary Ltd. from 2016. I am a LiDAR and GIS Specialist. I graduated in Geography BSc in University of Debrecen in 2011. After that I graduated as Geographer in Eötvös Lóránd University in 2013. I began my PhD in 2013 in University of Debrecen. It’s still in process.

My main activities are Research and Development of LiDAR technologies, Flight Planning survey and process; Realizing of different GIS processes; Development of GIS tools; Support other geoinformatics area and research field.

Orsolya Varga
manager, satellite division

I have been working for Envirosense Hungary Ltd. since 2017, as a researcher in the satellite division of the company. I have graduated from the University of Debrecen in 2014 with a Master Degree in Geoinformatics, then earned a pre-degree certificate of PhD course in 2018. As a PhD candidate, I still work on my thesis which focuses on land change analysis based on remotely sensed data. During my daily work, my research field is the processing and application of multispectral (mainly satellite) images. I also deal with the analysis of further opportunities in satellite imagery in various fields, such as agriculture, with a special attention to change analysis.
